I recently bought Tim Holtz sewing room die, (which was on my "must have list" .... LOL )
I decided to make a bookmark using the dressform using card and Melissa Frances paper , punched a hole and added a book tassle. Trimmed the waistline with satin ribbon and a heart shaped pearl embellishment. I liked this idea :) hope you do too .... :)

However I did buy this gorgeous Marianne Charleston lady die and also bought the Elegant lady one
too, they are gorgeous!!! So the top picture is just an oval nestie decorated using the die and then slipped it into a little clip frame :) The bottom picture is one of my jewellery boxes that needed cheered up.
I also bought Waltzing Mouse Cameo stamps which are fab too :) will share soon with you something made using them.

Getting ready for the Christmas season :) as we are all thinking about decorating our trees :) this weeks
challenge is "Trim the Tree" over at Let's Craft & Create.
I cut out my mittens with Shapeabilities mittens and blanket stitched them togetther , stuffed with wadding and stitched on buttons and bakers twine to hang on my tree :) I adore felt as regular readers will already know :)
Sorry for my lack of blogging lately, my health isn't the greatest, so just have to blog when I can :)

It's Let's Craft & Create time again :) I haven't been blogging much lately, no mojo :( just have to sit it out until it comes back :)
The theme this fortnight is "Anniversary" So here I have made a little dinky Gracie gift card, measures only 2.5" x 3.5" very cute, even has a little envelope to fit :) The Blue card is Papertrey, pink paper MM, punched a tag from kraft card, inked it in white versafine ink, the decorated it with gorgeous lace and a punched out butterfly, sentiment from Papertrey too :)

"One for the kids" is the theme over at Let's Craft & Create Challenge, im slightly late due to a few health issues.
Mine is a christening card for a baby girl. I bought this cute little knitted outfit a few years ago (still in package) and decided it was time ...... yet again to stop!!! hoarding!!! ...... LOL ;)
The paper is from Denami (years old too) stamps are recently new, I forget the company, but its a Christian range and I used good ole nesties, embossing the top one with a cuttlebug folder.

This is my latest creation :) Bought myself a bracelet kit from Jillybeads to get me into the swing of bracelet making and I thoroughly enjoyed it , plus their service is first class :)
This is made using fresh water pearls and bali silver spacer beads :)

It's Let's Craft & Create time :) .... Yes another fortnight has went by in a flash :)
Its "Felt" this challenge, make a project using felt or an item, totally up to you, we would love to see your creations :)
I got a new die, its either Sizzix or Ellison (from Sir Stampalot) it has this fab strawberry on it and a beautiful flower too (2 on the one die) Anyhow I cut out my strawberry with felt and blanket stitched around the edge, adding gold coloured pearl sticky gems :) I made another little wall hanging using my beaded nesties and the sentiment is from Paper Fashions Etc :)

♥ Christmas tree earrings ♥

Hi everyone, I haven't been blogging lately as I haven't been too well :( Just been diagnosed with quite a severe form of Fibromyalgia, which makes life difficult , even the little things makes me tired, I was told my body is basically running on half a battery :(
Anyhow on a brighter note I continue to create :) that's what I love .... that's what I do :) and have been getting into some beading which im thoroughly enjoying and as "dare I say it???" .... LOL ... Christmas is not far away (my favourite time of year) and I made these dinky little Christmas tree earrings using all Swarovski Crystal beads and silver plated findings and I put them in my Etsy :)
The sparkle of Swarovski is stunning and I adore their crystal, you cannot beat it :)
I will of course be making my cards, thats my first passion, just been doing this as something new to learn :)

It's Friday again :) SOooo its my day to post my weekly Paper Fashions Etc project :)
I used the lovely new Coffee and Latte bingo cards, they are a much nicer colour in real life, my camera has made everything look very vivid. The sentiment is from the Coffee with friends sentiment collection, I just love it!!!! I stitched on the red dotty October Afternoon Homemade collection paper {its red, looks a bit on the orange side here (",) } and the stripey paper is from same collection.
I was at my local craft shop the other day and there was a little bag of chipboard shapes for 99p, so
no name was on them and im bursting to find out the company. Sooo I used the chipboard coffee cup with 2 pearl pins as the coffee stirrers, adding a little heart charm {My Etsy} also added a heart doillie.

This is a teeny weeny giftcard only 2.5" x 2.5" , I thought it was cute :) Im entering it into Cupcake Craft Challenges as this weeks challenge :)
A lot of stitching going on here (as always :) ) and used up left over papers. Butterfly is cut from MFT dies , love this set, you get 3 in the set and it even cuts beautifully through felt :)
Added pearls and pearl pins which I snipped using jewellery cutters and a bit of left over fabric to trim edge :)

Something a little bit different to share today :) I have a lovely friend in America, who I met through Etsy and we chat all the time :) Her shop is Papernpearls and she sells stunning things including Crafty Secrets stamps and Scraps, pop over and have a browse, you will not be disappointed :)
Well I bought all the beads from Deb to make this little Angel and also Deb taught me how to make them, this is one of the first 3 I made, I have this in My Etsy and im very pleased with it, thoroughly enjoyed learning beading and have ordered another tool ... LOL :) Crafting is addictive!! just love it , Paper, card, stamps , felt, beads and the list goes on ........ ;)

Here is a multi layered tag I made using nesties, bunting banner {Whiff of Joy} banner die {MFT},

jute, seam binding, stitching, ...... yeah!! ... pretty much a bit of this "n" that .... LOL , my sentiment is from Paper Fashions and have added pearls and a tiny clothes pin. The cutie stamp is from Prima :)
This is me still practicing with Adobe 9, so please give honest opinions :) would value them sooooo much!! ;) Don't forget about our teddy Bear's picnic challenge at Let's Craft and Create, you could win one of my handmade pin cushions and Gracie pins, please feel free to play along :)

Im having a few teething problems trying to get the hang of Adobe 9 on my new computer :(
Im not overly happy with this picture at all, but have spent hours trying to edit it, I know it will take patience and time.
This is a new set from Paper Fashions :) loved it straight away, you get both the basket of apples and the lovely sweet sentiment too.
Short post tonight, as Im grumpy!! ... LOL .... at my card and photo, ah well , we can't get it right all of the time (".)

♥ Let's Craft and Create ~ Teddy bear's Picnic ♥

Hi everyone :) Well this is my first day as a Design team Member for Let's Craft and Create :) and I am so delighted to be working along side Mandy, Eileen and Diane :)
Teddy bear's Picnic is the theme :) We all love our Teddy bears, no matter what age we are, I still have my very first one, I should post a picture sometime of him ... LOL ;) his name is Tweety ... LOL'
Anyhow back to challenge , I used a Me to you bear stamp , which I got free with Creativity Magazine and sentiments too, I decoupaged his arm for him to hold a chipboard heart which I covered in paper and added applique and pearl. Stitched on large gingham dp and broad crochet lace {looove this} and finished off with a double seam binding bow and a gorgeous decorative pin that Mandy sent to me.
Please join in the fun with us , we would love to see your creations, it doesn't have to be a card, anything you would like to create using this theme, it would be great if you can as we love sharing ideas :)

Friday again ... :) Here is my weekly project for Paper Fashions Etc :) I have used a sentiment from the friendship collection {love this set} and cut out with my banner die.
Used lots of lovely coloured MME papers and nesties and of course pearls, seam binding, machine stitching and a little leaf pin.
The pearl heart is from a wedding spray, had to send to America for these as can't seem to get them here (",)
Keeping it short today, don't feel too well :(

A late good evening to you all, major "problems" with "this" computer :(

Anyhow, im here at last :) ...... And with some more great news :) Mandy & Eileen from Let's Craft & Create have asked me to join their design team and of course I said a huge BIG "YES" :)

As you know I thoroughly enjoy taking part in their fortnightly challenges and can't believe I am now part of their team along with another new team member Diane :) So Thank you so much ladies for having me, im truly honoured :)

I made this little tag and pocket last night using Waltzing Mouse tea for two stamps , kindly lent to me by my friend :) :) I paper pieced it and stitched on the yellow paper {Nan's Kitchen}

Hand stitched on little brass teabag charm {had for years }

This card fits in nicely with Cupcake Challenge, "Sewing", when I seen it I had to get a stitchin!! ... LOL ... ♥

♥ Paper Fashions Etc ~ My Weekly Project :) ♥

Hi there, here I am week 3 designing for Paper Fashions Etc, and having a ball , just adore their images :)

The top picture is an apron {can you tell? ... LOL } It was a freebie template I googled {can't remember} Anyhow, I used the basic shape and made my own pocket and half circle in centre {with circle punch} scrunched up a paper doilie and printed off a rolling pin from the Kichen Clatter images and have these sticking out of the apron pocket. The sentiment is frim Kitchen Clatter and the Cupcake from the Cherry Bundle images, its fab being able to re-size everything :) Oh yes.... I stitched all around the whole apron with my machine and added seam binding, lace pom pom trim and an applique {from My Etsy} Also inked around the edges too.

The second thing I made was a little tag {inspired by Andrea Budjack :) } using the Garden inspiations set and images. Gingham card is from MME, {which I adore} and another applique from My Etsy :) Isn't the cute watering can silver charm embellishment a nice touch? I thought so :) Feel free to ZOOM in the picture to see detail :)

♥ Let's Craft and Create ~ GO DIGI ♥

It's Digi time over at Let's Craft and Create :) soooooo, :) gave me a chance to use my fab digi images from Paper Fashions Etc :) This sentiment is from The Cherry Bundle and I love this set and this Scripture :) I used my nesties labels and doubled them up with foam pads to make this wee tag and the circle sentiment fitted perfectly cut with round nesties.
Both gingham papers are MME and I scalloped the red gingham and stitched it onto the yellow gingham, adding lace, Angel wings, heart button with jute and seam binding and of course PEARLS :)

♥ Handmade felted flowers ♥

I made these felted flowers from a bag of felt pieces I bought from Andrea Budjack's shop, along with some of her beautiful handmade creations :) So I sat happy with a tray on my knee arranging the flowers the way I wanted them to look, then started stitching them altogether including the buttons and topping them off with a nice pearl on each one :)
I have them for sale in My Etsy :)
I have overcome my fear of mixing and matching different colour combinations through visiting Andrea and now im on a design team with her and some fabulous other ladies :) Please take time to pop to each of the Paper Fashions Etc design team blogs and you most certainly will find plenty of inspiration :)

This is my card for Let's Craft and Create :) im very late this time round (",) but I still made it :) The theme is Things with wings, fairies etc .... So I used my new Crafty Secrets Cherubs scraps {from Papernpearls}, Memorybox pink and blue dotty paper, and of course stitched on machine :)
Added glitter to image and inked edges, stitching on some lace to the edge. Finishing touches are seam binding, a Gracie Pin, and a heart charm from My Etsy :)

Well Week 2 of me designing for Paper Fashions Etc, and im having soooo much fun!!!

This week I have made a tag and pocket card, using different strips of paper and stitching it altogether and stitching the pocket too. I used Garden inspirations sentiment ♥ and made a rolled rose by hand. The tag I used Prima papers and Garden Bingo card , adding a little felt flower and pearl to the centre. Bringing it altogether with seam binding and a butterfly charm {from My Etsy}

I have spent all day trying to upload this photo!!!! I want my new computer soooooon!! ... LOL
Anyhow .. rant over ;) This was a blank wooden teapot decoration which I covered in K&CO Bailey paper :) added a bronze teapot charm and gingham ribbon, the sentiment is from Waltzing mouse , which my friend kindly lent to me :) :) I added pearls and strong jute string to hang this from a nice kitchen or craftroom/work space :)

♥ Little Apple hang tag for a Teacher ♥

Hi .... :) I made this little 3.5" x 4" Apple hang tag for a Teacher , I have it in My Etsy in anyone is interested in a Teacher gift :) It has triple layers of card to make it nice and sturdy and I machine stitched round the gingham card , adding a cutie little wooden ruler embellishment that I have had a very long time and dont even know if I can get anymore :( if anyone knows, please give me a shout!! ...LOL Printed sentiment off computer and added, pearls, seam binding and button with jute threaded and jute string to hang it up. I personally think it would make a lovely little gift for a Teacher to hang in their classroom :)
Also have some new embellishments in My Etsy too :)

♥ Paper Fashions Etc ~ My first post :) ♥

Well :) Today is my first day posting as a proud design team member for Paper Fashions Etc :)
Im truly overjoyed and delighted to be here designing for a wonderful company :)
I made a little wall hanging for a baby, using the new baby bundle set ....which is adorable!! full of gorgeous images and there is also a sentiment set you can buy which is equally as sweet and cutie pie :) I paper pieced the little booties and stitched on sewing machine, punched tiny holes to thread ribbon through, attaching bows and peach pearl heart and mint green pearl stones :)
The gingham paper is from Melissa Frances and is more subtle in real life, its turned out quite bright in the image (",) I love my new beaded square nesties and I stitched on these too, added the sentiment from the baby bundle and used my CC designs banner to cut out, and of course "more pearls" {I looove pearls} The seam binding just finished it all off ready to hang in a little nursery :)

It's "Anything goes" over at Simon says Stamp, so I used my new Sizzix bigz birdhouse die and made a little wall hanging with it :) The sentiment is from Paper Fashions :) {I adore their downloads} and I cut it out with my new CC designs banner dies {they are fab!! even cut through felt} added a little applique, pearlstone and hand stitched the little bird charm and I also stitched on the sewing machine around the birdy house.

♥ Shabby Tea Room ~ Flower power ♥

This is a little 4" x 4" wall hanging which I made and gave to my Mum, she was well chuffed with it and im pleased too how it turned out. Im entering it into Shabby tea Rooms "Flower power" challenge.
The sentiment is from Paper Fashions and I used square nesties and fancy eyelet nesties and circle nestie ... LOL ... Lost without our "nesties" ;) I stitched the pink gingham paper {Making Memories} and the lace and the circle {zoom for detail} I made a little pink rose from felt and stitched onto angel wings and added a felt flower and felt applique to top corner. I tied seam binding in around the eyelets for to make the hanging and if my Mum wishes to frame this all she has to do is snip off the seam binding. To finish pearls were added :)

Over at Let's Craft and Create this fortnightly challenge is "Eat cake" Yum Yum ... LOL ;)
So I got out my Sizzix cupcake die and a selection of bright fun papers that I decided it was time to stop hoarding them!!! We all do it .. LOL :) Added stitching to the papers and the sentiment is just typed on Microsoft Word and printed :) And I used my new Whiff of Joy bunting die, I looooove it!!!! added baker's twine and pearls and a Heidi Swapp cherry :)
Plus .... I won a beautiful template over at Creations by Ar's new challenge blog, I won the vase and im getting a new computer very soon so I shall be able to open PDF files as this old thing is giving me trouble and won't let me install Adobe.

♥ City Crafter ~ Birds of a feather ♥

City Crafters theme this week is "birds of a feather " to use birds, birdcages, birdhouses ... etc...
Sooooo I downloaded this freebie template {I cannot remember from where.. sorry!! (",) )
Anyhow had great fun altering it with these beautiful Memorybox papers, I adore these papers :) I die cut little bird fromShapeabilities and inked round it adding a chipboard heart for his wing :) The little birdhouse hole has Alice in Wonderland vinage papers {from my shop} and pearls and I added an applique and pearl heart and seam binding. After I inked it I then decided to stitch on my machine, finishing off with a pink felt rose I made myself and a green felt flower from Donna :)

♥ A Spoonfull of sugar ~ Sewing ♥

It's been ages since I entered A Spoonfull of Sugar Challenge :) so this weeks theme is "Sewing" which as you all know I love!!!
I bought digi button cards from Paper Fashions and added buttons from Papertrey, the background paper from Beatriz Jennings, which I stitched on my sewing machine and added ink around edges, "even on my lace!!!" I never do that!!! ... LOL :)
The little charm sewing machine is from My Etsy and the gorgeous decorative pin is from my friend Mandy :)
I won the challenge for the tags over at Let's Craft and Create!!! :) :) delighted!!! and this weeks theme is "eat cake" :) yummy!! Why not pop over and see the design teams fab!! creations and join in the fun :)

City Crafter's challenge this week is to use the No.1 or the word "First" somewhere on your project :) The prize is a banner from Viola Mahr ~ how cool :) :)
I made this New home card for a couples first home together :) I did the sentiment on Microsoft word and chose this lovely font , printed it out on Prima paper and cut out with label nestie. The little house is Maya Road which I covered with papers and embellished, added it all to a K&CO tag and then layered onto main card, adding some seam binding :)

I made another tag :) inpsired me by entering Let's Craft and Create :) This one is for The Ribbon Girls challenge to use Pink & Cream {which are my main colours} adding a little green :)
The bird is cut from shapeabilities and a pearl for the eye :) added a little flower applique {from Etsy} some cream lace was stitched on and I made a nestie frame with labels 4 and oval and behind it if you zoom in picture is some of my Alice in Wonderland vintage novel paper {some in my Etsy, my book is running out (",) ... lol ) And seam binding to finish off :)
This will be listed in My Etsy and comes with glassine bag as an alternative to an envelope :)

This fortnighly challenge theme over at Let's Craft & Create is "Tags" :) I bought this little tag mini journalling K&CO book a long time ago and of course "never used it" soooo got it out and started to decorate one of the tags from it :) I used Beatriz Jennings paper across centre, covered a little Maya road chipboard house adding Angel wings {have some for sale in my Etsy, if anyone is looking for some} and added a little applique flower bought from Etsy :) The sentiment is from Paper Fashions etc fabulous sheets of digital downloads they have and I added pearls and seam binding and lace and just inked around the edges :)

Well this challenge from Frosted Designs is right up my street :) as I adore stitching on paper/card :)
My background papers are from Beatriz Jennings, which I stitched them altogether and the main vintage image is a cardstock sticker by Melissa Frances, {a bargain I picked up on Etsy}
I glittered all around the image and added pearls and seam binding, this wee card is only 3"x4"
a cutie ... I think anyway :)

♥ Little shabby chic cherub cushion ♥

Well im thoroughly enjoying the beautiful fabric I bought off Etsy :) this fabric arrived yesterday, it takes about 2 weeks to arrive and I think it was well worth the wait :)

Took me couple of hours to put this little hanging pin cushion together. I machine stitched most of it apart from the handle , bell, and rosette flower and button embellishment I made and stitched on. Added another cherub, I have one left {total panic... LOL} soooo the nice lady from Etsy is posting me another dozen {not free ... LOL}

The gingham ribbon is East of India :)

I think most of us crafters are totally inspired by the very talented Melissa Philips :) Well I know I certainly am from I first started my blog {4 years this month} . Well Melissa has been making the most beautiful little hanging pin cushions and I decided to buy some yummy fabric off Etsy, loooove their fabric and I got stitching and adding lovely lace from Mandy and the cherub I bought too from Etsy and the burlap from Viola, adding seam binding and wooden buttons, Gracie pin and couple of plain pearl pins I thought this isn't bad for my first attempt :) ... you can let me know your thoughts :)

A found another new challenge blog (that's to me} called City Crafter and the theme is frames, sooooo, I made this card using 2 labels 4 nesties for my frame inking around all the edges. I used Papertrey mannequin die and music paper, made a rosette from felt and glittered it attaching it to a Melissa Frances glitter heart and some angel wings, also sentiment is from Papertrey "Love lives here"
some pearls, seam binding and a button, oh and the papers are from Prima :)

"on my new printer :)" and if you zoom in you will see the little birdnest embellishment I made myself using Maya road twine and beads :) I think these may be an option for my Etsy :) I added Prima papers stitched on machine and a Gracie pin with seam binding and a tiny birdhouse embellishment which was sent to me as a thank you for being guest designer for Mandy and Eileen at Lets Craft & Create :) the finishing touches were pearls and glitter :)

♥ Let's Craft & Create "Dies to die for" ♥

It is dies to die for theme this week over at Let's Craft and Create :) and we all have a drawer full of them ... LOL .. well I have anyway :) I would be lost without my Cuttlebug and Wizard machines and I wouldn't mind a Timmy Vagabond ;)
I used 2 labels ~ 4 nesties to make a frame from chipboard and covered with Annabella paper by Prima, I die cut mannequin which is from Papertrey , covered in paper I have had years adding gold pearls to make a necklace.
I found Melissa Frances glittered chipboard hearts that I have had years, I couldn't believe it when I found them and added a paper rose from Viola, seam binding, a Gracie pin and stitched on background papers too. I spent a lot of time on this one, and im putting it in My Etsy :)

♥ Sew lovely no.2 ~ Lets Craft and Create ♥

Well I just had to create another "sew lovely" card for Let's Craft and Create challenge :) this is my favourite theme :) I have used Crafty Secrets stamps and Material girl "Cosmo Cricket" Paper, stitched altogether on sewing maching adding a button, pearls and Prima lace.

♥ Papertake Weekly "bloom & grow ♥

Papertake Weekly challenge is "bloom & grow", so here is my vintage shabby chic take on this challenge :) Base card is Kraft card, flowery paper, K&CO Bailey paper stitched on sewing machine. I layered and frayed a piece of burlap (from Viola, all the way from Singapore & the paper rose too) all the rest of tiny detail started off as a tag which is all altered with lace, angel wing {tea dyed}, gold pearls and Alice in Wonderland book page, the sentiment from my FAVOURITE!!! Papertrey Love Lives Here :)
Do you like my little vintage dolls house bicycle? :) :) I looooove it, im loving all the miniature dolls house collectables now since Viola inspired me :)

♥ Ribbon girls challenge ~ pinks & lilacs ♥

This is my very first time joining in The Ribbon Girl's challenge, always mean to , but just never get round to it, so here is my card using their chosen theme "Pinks & Lilacs" lovely colours :)
I used my Prima ~ Annabella papers for background, stitched on sewing machine, and used my new Crafty Secrets ~ materal girl stamps. Lilac seam binding {from Ribbon Girl shop} and one of my Gracie pins {with pinks and lilacs}, a little pair of satin angel wings with a button tied with jute and of course some pearls here and there :)
Do you like my little dress form? Miss Viola inspired me :) she has lovely props on her blog to display her gorgeous cards :) I even got her to get me a miniature screen just like hers and bought one of her beautiful cards to frame, so they are in the post all the way from Singapore :)
I have also ordered from Ebay a little black vintage bicycle, Viola uses a lovely white one, love meeting all these talented people from around the world :) and that includes Mandy :) who has inspired me loads, check out her lovely blog and challenge blog too :)

♥ Let's Craft and Create ~ Sew Lovely ♥

Over at Let's craft and Create is "sew lovely" one of my faves!! So my new Crafty Secrets ~ Material girl stamps arrived from Papernpearls, they stamp AMAZING!!! I want loads more! ... LOL ... ;) Used my new 6x6 Prima Annalee papers and stitched around the blue paper and stitched on the lace. I stamped and cut out cotton reel and glued on a scissors button {its been in my sewing box for years!} I added buttons with pearls and a Gracie pin and used Lily white Doodlebug glitter round the main image.

Here is another creation using "my all time favourites" Papertrey, Love lives here dies and stamps .... I adore these sooo much!!! :) :)
Background paper is K&Co bailey paper {Mandy inspired me to get this paper, its her fave :) }
I paper pieced the little houses with 2 different papers and stamped sentiment onto kraft card , adding seam binding and a mulberry rose from Bunny Zoe crafts {bailey paper also from there} it was only £2.49 for 6x6 pad ... not bad eh ;)
Added pearls too "of course" :)

♥ Home is where the heart is ♥

My Mother in law has been at me for years to make pictures from my papercrafting, so apart from Cross stitched pictures in the past this is my very very first picture :) im well chuffed and shall be taking it along to Craft fair this coming Saturday at my Mum's Church :)

I stitched together 3 different types of paper from my stash and cut out little house with Papertrey .. Love lives here die set, and sentiment is from same line :) a little pair of angel wings with a stitched button and a pearl stone in the heart and ordered the mount online and this frame was brand new , so it wasn't being used, sooo though mmmm "why not" :)

I have another beautiful card that was sent to me from Mandy & Eileen from Lets craft and create and I just need to buy a frame for it, I bought the mount, so when its all framed up I shall post it up for you to see :)
